A Special Message From Art Robinson

Dear Art for Congress Supporter,

As I travel around Oregon giving speeches and speaking with campaign workers and voters, I find the crowds larger and the enthusiasm much higher than ever before. This reflects the rising tide of 10s of millions of Americans across our country – more millions with every month – who are demanding a return to Liberty and Constitutional government in Washington.

“Throw the bums out” is not just campaign rhetoric. The American people are truly fed up. They want their country back!

That goal can be reached if we reclaim Congress from the self-interested politicians in Washington who have ignored our Constitution and endangered us all with mountains of taxation, regulations, and debt – and have built endless bureaucratic institutions (including the Fed) that take away our Liberty. We must do this in 2012.

To reclaim Congress, we must fund our congressional races. My opponent has huge amounts of special interest money. With it, he intends to shout our voices down on television, radio, and by mail. Our message must be heard – loud and clear in every forum, and this costs a lot of money.

Our liberty will not be preserved by one week, one month, or even one year of work. Already, our effort to reclaim this single congressional seat has taken two years. I will not stop, no matter how long it takes, and neither will those who work with me. We will win this election. And, then we will get busy undoing the damage these people have done in Washington.

As Thomas Paine wrote in Common Sense, in 1776, it was not common sense for a continent to be ruled by an island or for a free people to be ruled by a king. He also wrote that it was common sense that America’s freedom be won as soon as possible. These words are as true today as they were in 1776.

It is not common sense that a free people will give up their liberty to Big Government tyranny. And it is common sense that they will defeat every threat to their liberty as soon as possible.
