Signs of Success

During the 2010 campaign, Robinson campaign signs created a new legend in Oregon. Volunteers put an estimated 42,000 highway, yard, and car magnet signs up in District 4.
Figuring out a way to make car door magnetic signs themselves at a very low price (buying magnetic sheeting by the ton), 24,000 car signs were manufactured by volunteers and installed by voters on their cars.

My opponent didn’t even try to compete with this, except that his supporters sent out crews to take down Robinson signs. Although thousands were taken down once, and sometimes twice, this was just a small dent in the total.

Still, a key element was missing. Robinson signs were, in the usual tradition, just name advertisements and expressions of support. They did not contain useful information for the voters.
Meanwhile, the campaigns themselves generate 30-second TV sound bites and bullet-point fliers. We “learn” from this that the candidates claim to be for everything polls show that the voters want.
Our book Common Sense in 2012 is an innovation intended to bring a greater depth of information to the voters.
Now, we have introduced another innovation. Beginning October 1, thousands of Robinson highway signs, yard signs, and car door magnets across the district are appearing with campaign messages. CLICK HERE TO READ ALL 35 SIGNS
We have turned issues that the voters need to consider into 35 different large, four-color signs that are being put in place beside the Robinson For Congress signs. These are made possible by the hard work of volunteers, because we print and build them ourselves.
Help us produce and place as many of these signs as possible by clicking here to make a contribution to my campaign.
Thus, the equivalent of hundreds of billboards have suddenly arisen on District 4 highways. Simultaneously, homeowners with yard signs are becoming information sources, too. With a selection of messages from which to choose, the homeowners pick their favorite and put it up beside their Robinson for Congress sign. Thus, they deliver information to their neighbors along with their message of support for the Robinson campaign.
To support this effort, the front yard of the Robinson family home has been transformed into a sign factory in which teams of volunteers work to manufacture the highway and yard message signs.
When I returned recently from a 10-day tour of 25 speeches and door-to-door walks around the district, I was surprised to see that the driveway through the family farm to the house had been turned into a gallery of highway message signs where volunteers were testing and observing their work.
We need “real people” in the congressional office building in Washington. And, we need to give real, in depth information to voters so that they will elect the citizens we need.
Throughout our land, tens of millions of Americans have arisen. The Robinson family is privileged to be among them. And, we are winning. The tide is turning. In each election we are stronger. Most Americans now alive will be able to tell their children and grandchildren that they were there when we took our country back!
Please help our campaign with additional contributions if you can afford them. They are critical to our success.
