Oregonians and all Americans Need Jobs and Careers not Corruption

1. Federal over-taxation – which takes their money
2. State over-taxation – which takes their money
3. Local over-taxation– which takes their money
4. Federal reserve money printing – which devalues their money
5. Federal borrowing – which competes for money they need
6. Federal regulation – which causes them to waste money

All six of these activities, carried out excessively (there is, of course, a need for common sense taxation and regulation), combine to create a huge burden on the backs of American workers and the businesses and industries that employ them.

So, some of these businesses and industries move abroad, taking American jobs with them. Others, remain in the U.S., but their enterprises are suppressed and they provide fewer jobs.

This is costing Americans their careers.

Peter DeFazio has voted for 25 years for over-taxation, over-regulation, and over-debtedness. Incredibly, during our current recession, he is advocating higher taxes, more debt, and more regulation. This pleases the special interests he serves, but it will not bring prosperity, careers, and jobs back to Oregon. There is a word for self-interested use of federal authority by Congress – it is “corruption.” We must end this corruption in Washington.
