2nd Amendment

Art Robinson has an A rating with both the National Rifle Association and Gun Owners of America. Pete DeFazio's ratings are B with the NRA and C minus with GOA.

The 2nd Amendment of the Constitution must be unequivocally enforced. American liberty and freedom absolutely require that each citizen be able to obtain and utilize the means for defense of himself, his family, and other members of the community. Violent crimes are far more rare in regions where gun ownership and utilization are encouraged.

Art and all 6 of his children have Oregon concealed weapon permits. They are all skilled and safe in gun use and enjoy recreational shooting.

While Art's opponent Pete DeFazio sometimes votes properly on the 2nd Amendment, his record is sporadic. "Sometimes" on this important issue - is not enough.
